How Imperial operates

Build your book on a platform built around independent producers.

Imperial contracts independent producers — not employees. We supply the training program, the CRM, and the underwriting workflows; you supply the relationships and the activity. There is no predetermined income figure and no guarantee of contracting.

What's in the contract

Five pillars every Imperial producer walks through.

Independent-agent contract

You carry your production and your downline. No employment relationship, no predetermined income figure, no guarantee of contracting — the agency tracks what you place.

Visual 90-day onboarding

A structured path from licensing through carrier appointments, CRM setup, training, first dial, first appointment, and your first issued policy.

Categorized training library

IUL, Term, Whole Life, Final Expense, Annuities, and underwriting — with completion tracking. Learn the products, then carry them through your book.

Recruiting infrastructure

A recruiting link that attributes downstream lead-to-first-sale activity, plus the tools to build a downline that compounds over time.

Compliance built in

State-by-state advertising review, licensing checks, and carrier appointment tracking — so you sell with the documentation behind you.

What you'll need

Requirements before contracting.

A practical checklist — no income claims. Successful producers complete these steps in the order below.

  • STEP 01

    State life-insurance license

An active resident state life-insurance license (or the willingness to obtain one before contracting). Imperial does not pay for licensing in every state.

  • STEP 02

    Errors & omissions coverage

Maintaining E&O coverage for the duration of your contract. Premiums vary by state and prior production; carriers and producer groups often offer group policies.

  • STEP 03

Life & health license where required

States that require a separate health license for annuities or final expense will be flagged during contracting. We guide you to the right line of authority for your state.

  • STEP 04

    Background and compliance review

A background check, an insurance-regulatory review, and carrier appointment paperwork — completed before your first issued policy.

  • STEP 05

    Independent contract, not employment

Imperial contracts independent producers. There is no salary, no predetermined income figure, and no guarantee of contracting — you carry your book and your downline.
